Hello Hello! I'm Cathy, a nature loving, Universe trusting, big hearted artist and illustrator living in The Netherlands.
In 2019 I left my corporate real estate job in the states, bought a one-way flight to Bali and traveled for three months. Little did I know I would have an Eat, Pray, Love experience that would completely transform my life. These days I wake up to the most beautiful, gentle-hearted Dutch man who I met in Vietnam, I'm spending countless hours creating in my new She-shed (art studio) in our back garden, and I truly have the most supportive, beautiful humans surrounding me. It's magical really.
Some more bits about me . . .
I grew up painting in my bedroom until long after my parents thought I was already asleep. I studied art in college, then barely touched a paintbrush for almost 15 years. In 2021 I picked my paintbrush back up and it was immediate rekindled love.
I value creativity, connection, authenticity and adventure and am committed to living them out on the daily.
I love collaborating with like minded souls and I always say YES to an opportunity or adventure that intuitively feels right.
I'd love to connect with you on Instagram. Often my original paintings are sold there before they make it to my webshop. In addition to sharing my art, I love using Instagram as a tool to practice showing up vulnerably and imperfectly. You will often find me writing about my inner healing journey and all the awkward messy bits of life. I hope by showing up imperfect, it gives others permission to too.
